Considering Psychotherapy Training This Year?
Admissions for the upcoming cohort close at the end of April.
If you are planning to begin psychotherapy training this year, now is the time to move from reflection to action.
Choosing where to train as a psychotherapist is a significant professional commitment. At OPCC, training is approached as both rigorous academic study and relational professional formation. We have developed a series of articles to support prospective students in discerning readiness, alignment, and fit:
- How to Know If You’re Ready for Psychotherapy Training
- Why Boutique Psychotherapy Training Matters
- What Makes a Strong Psychotherapist? (Beyond Academic Ability)
- What to Look for in a CRPO-Recognized Program in Ontario
- The Emotional Reality of Becoming a Psychotherapist
If these reflections resonate with you, we encourage you not to wait.
Final Open House Before Admissions Close
We will host one final Open House before applications close.
This session offers you the opportunity to:
- Experience the tone and depth of our training
- Learn about experiential labs and supervision
- Meet faculty and leadership directly
- Ask questions about readiness and next steps
We will gather live over Zoom, creating a thoughtful and interactive space to engage in real-time dialogue. The virtual format allows prospective students across Ontario and beyond to participate fully while experiencing the relational tone that defines OPCC.
Cohort sizes are intentionally limited to preserve the mentorship-focused and depth-oriented structure of our program. If you are serious about beginning psychotherapy training this year, we invite you to take the next step now.
