Scott Petrie, M.Ts., R.P., is a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of both the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Association of Psychodynamic Therapy. Currently serving as the Assistant Educational Director, Faculty, and Clinical Supervisor at OPCC, Scott plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience.
With expertise in Ethics and Professional Practices, as well as the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Model of Practice, Scott delivers engaging lectures to students. His passion for Eastern philosophy fuels his exploration of the intersections between Eastern and Western concepts of the self. This exploration informs his clinical work, particularly in addressing dissociation and the impact of trauma on personality structure.
Scott has been an integral part of the OPC College administration and faculty since 2015, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to excellence in psychotherapeutic education.
