Carolina Alvarado, M.A., RP, OPC Dipl., is a registered psychotherapist, educator, and cultural humility consultant, affiliated with the Canadian Association of Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). In addition to her private practice, she serves as the Social Advocacy Director at the Trauma Embodiment Association of Ontario, where she focuses on individual and collective trauma processing and embodiment.

Carolina’s academic journey began with a Juris Doctor (Law Degree), underscoring her passion for human rights. After immigrating to Canada, she earned a Master’s in Social Justice and Equity Studies. In 2021, she completed the OPC College, initially joining as a teaching assistant and advancing to a faculty member in 2023. Her extensive expertise, shaped by a deep commitment to social justice, enriches both educational and therapeutic settings.
