Amy McGrath, M.A., RP, and holder of a Diploma in Psychotherapy, is the visionary leader and CEO of the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counselling College (OPCC). With a distinguished career of over 30 years in psychotherapy and counselling and a profound dedication to mental health, Amy brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and passion to her role.
Educational Background: Amy’s academic journey includes two undergraduate degrees, a Master of Arts in Sociology and a specialized Diploma in Psychotherapy from OPCC. Her rigorous educational background has equipped her with a deep understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of psychotherapy, enabling her to provide exceptional guidance and leadership at OPCC.
Professional Experience: Amy is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with extensive experience in clinical practice. She has worked with a diverse clientele, addressing a wide range of mental health issues and helping individuals achieve greater emotional well-being. Her clinical expertise spans various therapeutic modalities, allowing her to adopt a holistic approach to mental health care.
