Supporting the ongoing development of psychotherapists and counselling professionals.

OPCC offers a select number of continuing clinical education programs for practicing clinicians seeking to deepen their clinical thinking, reflective capacity, and professional practice.

Our programs are grounded in relational and psychodynamically informed perspectives and are designed to complement — not replace — formal professional training.

Programs are offered in small cohorts and emphasize dialogue, experiential learning, and thoughtful engagement with clinical work.

Principles Of Learning

Our Educational Approach

Continuing education plays an important role in sustaining reflective clinical practice.

OPCC’s Continuing Clinical Education programs are designed for practicing professionals who wish to deepen their engagement with supervision, clinical presence, and relational psychotherapy.

Programs are offered periodically in small cohorts and emphasize thoughtful dialogue, experiential learning, and professional reflection.

Participants receive a Certificate of Completion indicating the number of training hours completed.

Upcoming Programs

OPCC offers a limited number of continuing clinical education programs each year. Programs are intentionally small and designed to support thoughtful engagement with clinical practice.

Mindfulness in Clinical Practice

8-Week Continuing Education Program
A program for therapists who want to strengthen their capacity to remain present, reflective, and emotionally grounded in the midst of complex clinical work.

Launching Fall 2026

This program explores mindfulness as a clinical stance within relational psychotherapy. Participants examine how presence, attention, and reflective awareness shape the therapeutic relationship.

Through discussion, experiential exercises, and clinical reflection, the course considers how mindfulness may support the therapist’s capacity to regulate affect, maintain reflective thinking, and deepen attunement with clients.

Participants receive a Certificate of Completion documenting training hours.
