Our admissions process is designed to be holistic and comprehensive, ensuring that we identify and nurture individuals with unique gifts, talents, and life experiences. We value both formal education and experiential learning, recognizing that each student brings a distinctive perspective that enriches our community. By focusing on understanding the whole person, we aim to create a vibrant learning environment that upholds the dignity and worth of every individual. Join us at OPC College, where your journey towards personal and professional growth begins.

At OPC College, we welcome applicants from a variety of educational backgrounds. We encourage those without an undergraduate degree to apply through our Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) process. This ensures that all relevant knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired through work experience, training, independent study, and volunteer activities are taken into consideration.

OPCC Application

As part of our admissions process, prospective students are required to complete an application detailing their educational and life experiences and provide three references. Applicants seeking admission through the PLAR process must submit their applications by March 31, 2025, to allow sufficient time for PLAR evaluation by April 30, 2025.

OPC College is dedicated to cultivating a student body that reflects the diverse communities we serve. We look forward to welcoming students who are passionate about making a positive impact through mental health services and community engagement.

OPC Admissions Form

The online application form opens on January 15th. The application deadline for September 2025 enrollment is April 30th, 2025.
Please note that applicants who do not have an undergraduate degree and intend to apply with a Prior Learning Assessment Recognition (PLAR) evaluation must submit their application by March 31, 2025, to allow sufficient time to complete the PLAR application by April 30, 2025.

A Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) is the process used by our college to evaluate and recognize an individual’s knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired through formal and informal learning experiences, such as work experience, training, independent study, volunteer activities, and other life experiences. This evaluation helps determine if the individual’s prior learning is equivalent to the academic requirements for OPC College, which is a bachelor’s degree.
